About: Chelse Hall

Chelse Hall, M.S. is a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate at Mercer University, where she also earned an APA-accredited M.S. in Clinical Health Psychology. She holds a Master of Arts in Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics from Stony Brook University, as well as a B.S. in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University. Her interdisciplinary training and dedication to health equity shape her clinical, research, and teaching pursuits.

Chelse’s clinical training includes work in community mental health centers, private forensic practices, and chronic pain management programs, where she provided evidence-based therapy and conducted both psychological and forensic assessments. Her professional interests center on chronic pain, trauma, culturally responsive care, and the intersection of health disparities and mental health. Chelse is the current Georgia Psychological Association of Graduate Students ( GPAGS) Secretary and she has also served as a graduate teaching assistant, a diversity lab assistant, and a mentor in the HBCU Psychology Mentorship Program.

Her work has been presented at the American Psychological Association and regional research conferences, focusing on trauma, parenting, and mental health disparities. She was awarded the prestigious Chronic Pain Management Scholarship in recognition of her commitment to expanding CBT access in underserved communities. Her broader focus is on promoting inclusion and accessibility in clinical psychology training.

Chelse is passionate about advocacy, mentorship, and clinical excellence—and she values the importance of self-care and travel. Her goal is to become a licensed clinical psychologist serving historically marginalized populations through trauma-informed, justice-oriented, and integrative care.
