Crystal Jordan is a native of Roswell, Georgia by way of Hartford, Connecticut who self describes as an equity focused, barrier breaking, rapport building, change agent school counselor. Staying true to her Georgia upbringing, she earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Georgia State University and her Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Professional Counseling with a specialization in School Counseling and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Professional School Counseling degrees from the University of Georgia. She has spent the last 9 years in the K-12 education sector as a high school counselor, serving in both the state’s largest and 2nd largest school districts.
Geoffrey Loften

E-mail: vp@ulga-yp.org Geoffrey Loften graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with degrees in Political Science and Economics. He spent 6 years as a Program Coordinator and Business Advisor with the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center where he worked directly with small businesses, assisting them in all areas of owning, managing and operating a small business. He also led efforts in establishing partnerships with local organizations to bring the full resource of training and consulting services to the small businesses in the territories he covered. In 2022, Geoffrey took on the role of Equitable Economic Development Program Manager with Decide DeKalb Development Authority. In this role, he works with communities and business leaders to develop programs that support and fortify business growth in underserved, under resourced and underdeveloped areas in order to attract large scale investment to the area.Xavier Blount

E-mail: treasurer@ulga-yp.org Xavier Blount was born and raised just outside of Atlanta in Clayton County. After graduating college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he began working at Westrock, a paper packaging company, where he had the opportunity to work in multiple roles in different cities. His work sent him to Atlanta, Dallas, and Jacksonville where Xavier was able to work in roles such as design engineering, project engineering, and continuous improvement. Eventually, he relocated back to Atlanta after accepting a role as a Supply Chain Analyst where he uses his analytical and problem solving skills to work on special projects that to help improve the company’s Supply Chain.Shannon Woodward

E-mail: membership@ulga-yp.org Shannon Woodward PharmD, RPH has been a member of ULGA-YP since 2019. Shannon is a Health Communication Specialist with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In this role, Shannon translates prevention research into actionable communication materials (print ads, websites, and social media). Shannon wears multiple career hats and has also practiced as a clinical pharmacist since 2015 specializing in internal medicine and vaccine administration. During her time with CDC. Shannon has supported numerous public health deployments for COVID-19 and influenza vaccination efforts. Shannon is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated and a graduate of Austin Peay State University (B.S. in Chemistry) and Howard University College of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Outside of work Shannon’s favorite activities include long-distance running (2x marathon finisher), hiking, and trying to navigate dog friendly activities with her very stubborn, but lovable shihpoo, Brodi.Bianca Webb

Bianca is the founder of the Geaux Feed Project, a grassroots movement aimed at fighting poverty and raising awareness to food deserts in local communities. Her passion for helping those in need started as a young child, but amplified when she was crowned as the second African American Homecoming Queen at Louisiana State University (LSU).Brian Cornelius, II

He currently works in the field of Non-Profit where he helps youth in the Atlanta community achieve their career aspirations. He believes in empowering youth from historically marginalized backgrounds, by ensuring they are properly informed about the resources, opportunities, and options that they have to navigate college and the workforce.Rashad Christie

E-mail: fundraising@ulga-yp.org Chante’l Armstrong is a native of Detroit, Michigan and has resided on the Southside of Atlanta for over 20 years. Chante’l has always been a woman of service. Since a teenager, Chante’l has been actively involved in Community Activism, Socio-Environmental Justice, and Civic Engagement as she served as a member of Black Youth Vote, Georgia Coalition for the Peoples’ Agenda, and Georgia Kids Against Pollution. She has traveled through the Southeast region to rural communities to register individuals to vote. Chante’l is an Army veteran and proud Alumna of Fort Valley State University, where she serves as a general member of the Southern Crescent Chapter FVSU Alumni Association. Chante’l is a Mental & Behavioral Health Clinician as she service out-patient facilities as a clinical instructor. She has been in the field of mental/behavioral for 10 years and is in the midst of obtaining her doctorate of clinical psychology. She is passionate about mentorship of BIPOC students in Psychology and assisting them to find their niche in the field of mental/behavioral health and counseling.Russ Hill, Jr.

E-mail: chiefofstaff@ulga-yp.org Russ Hill, Jr. is an IT Program Manager, Scrum Master and IT Collegiate Recruiting Coordinator at PropLogix, a real estate software company. He has been a member of National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) since 2018. Russ was the Community Service chair for ULGA-YP 2022-2023. Prior to serving as the Community Service chair of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP), Russ served across committees in the Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals from 2018-2021. During his tenure in Phoenix his service culminated in being awarded the 2018 Member of the Year for the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals as well as the 2019 Western Region Member of the Year for the National Urban League Young Professionals. Dr. Brittany Marshall is a Behavioral Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Research and Leadership at The George Washington University. She has been a member of the National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) since August 2008. Prior to serving as the President of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP), Brittany served as the ULGA-YP Vice President from July 2019 until June 2021 and ULGA-YP Personal and Professional Development Chair from January 2017 until June 2018. Outside of ULGA-YP, Brittany is involved in the American Public Health Association where she is on the Executive Board, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. serving in the East Point/College Park Alumnae Chapter. She has received several awards, including the 2021 40 Under 40 for Georgia Trend Magazine, inaugural “40 Under 40 in Public Health” for de Beaumont Foundation, the 2020 Southern Region Outstanding YP Member of the Year for the National Urban League Young Professionals, the 2020 Outstanding Young Alumni for the University of Florida College of Health and Human Performance, and is a member of the 2019 Class of Outstanding Atlanta. In addition, she is an alumna of LEAD Atlanta, New Leaders Council, National Urban League Emerging Leaders program, and National Urban League Certificate in Advocacy program.
A West Palm Beach, Florida native, Brittany holds a B.S in Health Education from the University of Florida, a Masters of Public Health from the University of South Florida, and a Doctorate of Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. In her spare time, she enjoys expanding her makeup collection, studying astrology and reading tarot, watching Gator Football every fall, and trying new recipes while entertaining family and friends.
