About: Princess Raines

Princess Raines is a multifaceted healthcare professional, event curator, and wellness advocate with a deep-rooted passion for service and making meaningful change within her community. She holds a B.S. in Biology and an MBA in Healthcare Management. Her professional background spans a broad spectrum of clinical settings—including hospice care, retina and ophthalmology, allergy and immunology, and emergency medicine—giving her a well-rounded perspective on patient care and healthcare operations. She currently serves as an executive assistant in the hospice industry while leading service initiatives as the Community Service Chair of the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals.

Beyond her work in medicine, Princess is the founder of Down2Earth: WeColorOutdoors, an organization that celebrates the joy and healing found in nature. Through curated hikes, camping retreats, yoga sessions, and wellness events, she invites people—especially within the Black community—to reconnect with themselves and the outdoors. Through her leadership, she’s curated transformative group experiences that blend joy, mindfulness, movement, healing, and Black culture.

A proud Atlanta native, Princess leads with both heart and strategy, combining her professional expertise with her passion for purpose-driven impact. She has orchestrated large-scale volunteer efforts and service events that uplift underserved communities and spark civic engagement.

Her work centers around community, equity, and helping others thrive. Whether she’s mentoring youth, organizing outdoor adventures, or building partnerships to serve Atlanta’s communities, Princess moves with intention. She is committed to creating spaces that empower, educate, and inspire—inside and outside the healthcare system.
