About: Crystal Jordan

Crystal Jordan is a passionate and equity-driven school counselor, community advocate, and organizational leader with over a decade of experience in K-12 education. A native of Roswell, GA by way of Hartford, CT, Crystal is deeply committed to empowering youth and eliminating systemic barriers that impact marginalized communities. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from Georgia State University and both an M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Professional School Counseling from the University of Georgia.

Crystal has served as a high school counselor in Georgia’s largest and second-largest school districts, where she has built a reputation as a change agent and student-centered leader. Her drive for civic engagement led her to join the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals in 2019, where she has grown from an active member to Interim Communications Chair, Parliamentarian, and most recently as 2023-2025 Chapter President.

Outside of her professional and civic work, Crystal is a dedicated member of the Georgia State University Young Alumni Council and a board member for VOX ATL. She enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, and spending quality time with loved ones. Whether in schools or in the community, Crystal remains rooted in her mission to uplift, advocate, and inspire lasting change.
