About: Khadijah Ameen

Khadijah Ameen, PhD, MPH (she/her/hers) is a community-based social scientist and public health practitioner with over a decade of experience integrating antiracism praxis into health equity research, policy, and practice solutions. She is Co-Founder and Director of Policy & Research at BLKHLTH Inc., a Black-led Georgia-based non-profit focused on advancing the wellbeing of Black communities through racial equity-centered education, advocacy, research, and programs. In her role, she manages the organization’s community health research, antiracism capacity building, and policy advocacy work streams. Previously, she provided strategic advisory to the federal government on health policy efforts designed to address the healthcare access and health-related social needs of low-income families and children.
